Have you ever heard of the undeservedly obscure webcomic Werewolf and Firefly ?
I was first taken in by the resemblance in frame design to the Bazooka Joe comics from Bazooka Bubble Gum. I also like the fully realized world, in which the artist places the action in a distinctive place unencumbered by lots of familiar images (though there are some). Sometimes there is an animal or other topical factoid tucked in as a dessert: Did you know that a Brickfilm is an animation made with legos? I did not.
Some of the episodes end in punch lines (often subtle and funny) and others end with morals or facts. The challenges of boy-girl coexistence is a recurring theme. Some stories draw from fairy tales.
The ABOUT page is blank but the strips are signed A. Mulia. Google indicates the "A" is for Andy. The strip also appears on Comics Sherpa.
The comic is all ages, but as usual, that shouldn't stop most readers.
