didn't want harsh partisan stuff on my blog.
There's been a creative eruption triggered by this year's elections at a new site called Super Barracuda.
A group of cartoonists have assembled to provide ongoing comic commentary on the candidates and campaigns.
I like the idea of a theme-specific clearinghouse for cartoonery. It will be interesting to see how it evolves. The masthead declaration, "Bringing Truth and Justice to the US Elections," must be meant tongue-in-cheek, for if there were ever an art form given license to distort the facts and treat people unfairly, it's political cartoons (though the paintings of Francis Bacon also come to mind).
