ComicGenesis Harms its Clients

When I write to someone and ask to use a piece of their art, they always seem to say OK.

But if the art is on ComicGenesis, when I go to retrieve it, I will often be blocked. This is because the system confuses me with someone who is linking to an image and "stealing bandwidth."

So there I am with written permission and a project underway, and this one site decides to screw everything up. No one else does this.

The more bureaucratic and uncaring a site becomes, the less likely I am to visit it.

Time to start thinking about migrating from ComicGenesis if you want to interact with bloggers and journalists.
