I had five variations in this series when I was a kid. I used to stand and gaze at them long after bedtime. I can't say what I was thinking, just that they were pleasing to me.This pic is from The Gallery of Monster Toys, which I am reliably told is the most complete such site on the net.
The site has the most dismal home page of any major archive site I've seen. Don't panic; it's much better inside.
I was too young to paint my "Pirates of the Caribbean" models, but I didn't care. I was afraid I'd spoil them.
They were ultimately destroyed in a fire, which also claimed my guinea pigs. Oddly, I do not spend evenings gazing at guinea pig sites.
